DIY NOTEBOOK

Here in the Philippines, school usually starts on the first week of June. But our school adjusted and we are starting our school year on August. So obviously while other schools are getting ready for their long quizzes we're just getting ready for the school year!

Are your notebooks too plain? Or you want to reuse some from the previous school year?

You're on the right place! 

When I started to get ready for grade 10, the first thing I did was to get rid of my old books and notebooks. As I scan my notebooks, some of them were not that used and if you'll remove the used pages it will look good as new. So I decided to make them look cute!

You'll need:

notebook

yarn

paper clip

stick

glue

scissors

I just used my old notebooks for this DIY 

Since my notebooks has spring I removed them. This step kinda requires some patience and may hurt your hands

Then remove the used pages. If you are using a new notebook continue to the next step.

 Get your selves some decorative papers! You can also use scrapbook papers.

Cut out your paper to fit your notebook's cover. then glue 'em together.

I just ripped my paper from an adult coloring book that I never used.

Then poke out the hole that has been covered by the paper. It will help you stitch your notebook.

Before stitching your notebook of course you need a needle. 

If you don't have one, why not make one?

I have here a tutorial of how I did mine.

After  making your needle, stitch your notebook! I peeled of the plastic of my paper clip because it was to thick for the holes and it gives me a hard time stitching. 

Before you stitch, plan out how you want the stitches to look like. 

When you're finished, tie a knot and make sure it won't fall off

TADA!!

You have your super duper cute notebook that is unique and personalized.

No one will surely have the same notebook as yours!

This is what my wall looks like right now! 

I got the letter blocks at divisoria and DIYed it with some vintage looking papers. I placed some of my polaroid pictures to make it more me! 

VSCO Filters

Hey hey hey! Wanna make your Instagram feed look more gorgeous? I got here some filters to help you out!

PS. These filters are made by yours truly

This filter is what I am using right now. I like using dark photos specially the ones that has black on it! Its perfect for silhouettes too!

This filter is perfect for light pictures, white walls, and just things that are light colored or white.

I love the way it looks on pictures that has that wooden color with white or even colorful stuffs

As you can see, I used this filter for my beach photos. Its lovely on that picture of clear blue skies and a white sand beach you have!!

When I was in Baguio, I experimented some filters with my pictures, and look what I Got! Its lovely! And the funny part here is you don't need to have too much effort in it. Its perfect for that foresty and nature friendly picture you got!

DIY Cork Board!!

Do you have a cork board but too plain? why not spice it up a bit? I have a solution for you to spice up you cork board and turn that blank wall on your room to fab!

DIY Cork Board

You'll need:

cork sheet

paint and brushes

cutter or x-acto knife

pencil (for drawing your lines on the cork sheet)

ruler

Cut your cork sheet into small hexagons. 

I made a hexagon template for my shape to be even. Do as many hexagon as your heart desire.

Paint your cork sheets! 

Painting these is my favorite part. You can choose what ever color will suit your room. In my case, I painted mine white and pink. I got seven hexagon so I painted three white, three pink, and leave the other one unpainted.

make sure to cover your working space so you wont have paint drops on the table or on the floor. let it dry first before doing the next step. Mine took 20 mins to dry, I used acrylic paints.

Stick your cork sheets on your wall!

Before placing it on your wall, arrange it on the floor the way how you want it to be on your wall. I make use of masking tape so I wont be damaging the paint of my wall. 

And you're done!

Since school hasn't started yet, I just placed some wooden clothes pin and clipped polaroid picture in it.

DLSUD HS 9F S.Y 2015-2016

   
My first year in the big school was the bomb! I met new gorgeous friends plus I got a new family, 9F!

Our section is always on the top of the list when it comes to being noisy, naughty and even for having a really messy room. Well, as you can see our class is not that well and always being called the worst one. We often won award as a class and there is time that we embarrassed ourselves in front of other classes but that happening binded us closer together than we are before. That's the time we started calling it a family, and that's what 9F stands for, 9Family. We started gaining awards more often and made our teamwork better that instead of being stressed out we are having fun working together. Friendships got deeper to the point that you really can't separate some from their friends. 

And of course as teenagers having crush will always take place. You'll never experience high school without having those kilig moments with crush, being forced by your friends to take a picture with your crush and of course everyone will always find ways for that breezy move you got for crush. 

Our school year is somehow composed of 20% studying, 15% jamming, 15% arguing and 50% of fun memorable moments, friendships, story tellings and more! That's what I love about our section our family I mean. 

Being one of these silly guys is something I consider as an unexpected one. Because being a transferee is really that hard specially in my case that I came from a small school where my social life is somehow very limited. They maybe are silly but they are the ones you can trust everytime you need someone to lean on or to cheer you up. We are always there for each other no matter what.

To my dearest fam, 9Family,

Thank you for turning my grade 9 days in to 9F days. Everyone and every little things really means a lot to me. Thank you for helping me become who I am today. Thank you for filling the memory jar I have in my head with unforgettable memories, hugots, inspiring messages, advices and many more that will be with me all the way. Love you guys!

Juniors prom

Prom is not magical as we imagine it, its not like a 2010 disney movie. For some, prom is just an ordinary night dressing like princes and princesses, and for others its a special night, a night with friends or someone special, a night where everyone is on their best looks, a night where everyone is dancing, where everyone is happy and everything is great!

I learned a bunch of things from my first prom. I realized prom is not about having someone to ask you for a dance nor having a date, its not about having expensive dresses nor having the most beautiful makeup. Prom is about you, you turning into a young adult, you facing  bigger and hopefully a better world. A world where we are about to pursue are dreams as a slightly mature ones.

Life is short! HIGH SCHOOL life is short so as the lizzard from Cinderella said, enjoy it while it last. 

Christmas 2015

This year's Christmas was full of fun and surprises! Our family went to Laguna to go for a swim. We stayed there until December 26 and went to Paseo after. We had so much fun! Considering that all of my cousins were almost complete.

 

I didn't get a lot of gifts this Christmas but my parents surprised me with an iPhone 6s plus! And me and my brothers also got a new puppy! My brother named it max, because they love the movie Big Hero 6. 

Christmas is not about the gifts you recieve, it is all about how love can keep you and your family together no matter what and saying thank you for everything that you have good or bad. It is about loving unconditionally and sacrificing everything for the people you love. Just like what Jesus did. And its his birthday!
